Just when Sumi’s financial problems become dire, wealthy man called Soichiro enters her life with a bizarre proposition: he’ll provide her with the money she so desperately needs if she agrees to marry him. Can Sumi fool high society into thinking she’s a proper lady? Moreover, is it worth giving up everything she hold dear for the financial support her fractured family desperately desires?

Thoughts:
I loved this manga! Firstly it had a completely new story concept that I hadn’t seen before – A rich man marrying a poor girl in order to inherit his family business. Naturally they fall in love and drama ensues, in particular another man comes into the picture trying to steal his new wife away.

I truly didn’t think that I would become so hooked on this manga but it happened and I read the entire manga in a matter of 2 days – it is such a page turner! If you love period dramas or dramatic love stories you should really give this a chance I’m sure you will love it as much as I did.
